What is a CSA you ask???
It is “Community Supported Agriculture”. You prepay for produce in advance at a discounted price and in return the farmers have more money to plant and sustain their farm.

Sign up for the first month of our 2013 summer CSA with Fresh and Local TJ farms starting Wednesday May1st. Each Wednesday you pick up your fresh, local, pre packaged produce items at Park West (99^th Ave and Northern). The pick-ups will be in the ”Coffee, Tea and Me” store located in the plaza area of the shopping center. We will have CSA’s running through the summer months (May, June, July and Aug). The produce is delivered in the morning and kept in a walk in fridge until you arrive. You can pick up anytime between 12p-8p on drop off day!

The cost comes out to only $25 a week for produce that would sell at a market for $35-$40!

You can expect to see the best things from the farm that week such as: tomatoes, okra, corn, carrots, potatoes, summer squash and even melons!  It is a great way to get local foods that you love and to experiment with new items you may not typically buy. We send out recipe ideas and the list of what items will be in your box the Monday before each pick-up so you can plan for your week. We try to have local honey and fresh eggs available as much as we can each week for additional purchase. We can even orchestrate orders time to time for all natural buffalo meat and possibly even fish as well. We want to be able to get you those wonderful market items that are harder to get in the summer months since it is the “off season” for markets here in AZ.

Pre pay by April 29^th and get in on the CSA for May. Payments are being collected by Momma’s Organic Market (checks payable to “Fresh and Local TJ farms”). Email or call to RSVP.
